Sports Analytics
Dr. Alamar is an international leader in the field of sports analytics. He has done significant research in football, baseball, basketball and soccer. In addition to his academic research, he has written on sports analytics for ESPN, the Wall Street Journal and Analytics Magazine and work with teams in the NFL and NBA. He has also worked with numerous startup companies in the field of sports analytics.

Commercial & Promotional Strategies in the Super Bowl XLIV Telecast
In addition to 20 years of teaching, Dr. Carroll has written, taught in the International Exchange Program, produced recordings, and performed on cello. The KMXX radio station at Menlo College is managed by students under Carroll’s direction in his radio management course. He has been a Faculty Representative in the International Faculty Exchange Program for a teaching assignment at Guangdong University of Commerce and Law (GUCL) in Guangzhou, PRC. Working as an audio engineer, he has produced a CD titled  “Animal Sounds,” which is a collection of recordings of the sounds of over thirty species.  A website, http://www.animalsounds.info is dedicated to the CD published by Carroll Productions.  Local performances on cello have allowed him to present music to the Bay Area community. Carroll received the Best Teacher of the Year Award at Commencement 2012.
