Consumer Compliance Behavior
Dr. Dellande’s expertise pertains to understanding the factors that influence consumer adherence to complete long-term programs, as well as expertise in a group of services known as Compliance Dependent Services (CDS).
Dellande empirically found that one of the primary determinants of consumer adherence to complete long-term programs, e.g., debt management, once the customer is away from the service provider, is extrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivation pertains to the ways in which the service provider can encourage the customer to stick with and satisfactorily complete a program.
Dellande is also an expert in Compliance Dependent Services (CDS). In certain classes of services, the consumer’s role in the service delivery process often extends beyond the face-to-face exchange; these services are long-term programs and often require a life style change. Examples of CDS include auto maintenance, chronic pain programs, education, and long-term medical programs, such as cholesterol management.

Dr. Eggers has taught numerous courses in the areas of entrepreneurial marketing, strategic planning, management, small company growth, and marketing. He is actively involved in international projects in marketing and entrepreneurship and started and consulted several startups in the recent past. Dr. Eggers is the co-chair of the annual Global Research Symposium on Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He received an MBA in Management /Marketing from the University of Hamburg, Germany, and his doctorate in Entrepreneurship from Leuphana University of Lüneburg.

Dr. McCabe teaches marketing, research methods and business communications. She was also a Visiting Professor in the International Master's in Marketing program at Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand. Working with clients including Aetna Casualty and Surety, AT&T, Andersen Consulting, the FDIC, the National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and others, Dr. McCabe was a founding partner of Gallegos, Brown, Silvey and Associates, an organizational development, training, and consulting firm. She received a master's of Arts in Organizational Communication from California State University, Hayward, and her doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Arizona State University.

Turner’s research is on the consumer’s perceived value of the co-design experience in mass customization and its impact on satisfaction and online loyalty. She has extensive experience in senior management and marketing in the private sector, including the broadband cable telecommunications industry, SMEs and entrepreneurial ventures. Turner earned her A.B, cum laude in Social Studies from Harvard University, her M.B.A in Marketing & Business Policy from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business; and she is currently working on her D.B.A at Grenoble Ecole de Management in Grenoble, France.
