Enrolling a student in college is not only an adjustment for the student, but it's an adjustment for all members of the family as well. Whether it's your first or your tenth family member to start college, and whether or not your student is moving away from home or will be staying put, college usually signifies a change for the individual and for the entire family unit.

At Menlo, we understand this. We know the value of the support parents and families provide to our students. This is why we invite you, as well as your enrolled student, to become a part of the Menlo community. Menlo College encourages the involvement of parents of current students and parents of alumni in the continued enhancement of life on campus. To this end, the College's mission is to:
- Support student activities to improve educational experiences
- Facilitate communication between parents and the College
- Strive to create goodwill and strong relationships
- Instill a sense of affiliation between parents and the Menlo Live / Learn Community.

- Attend Menlo College alumni sponsored gatherings in your area
- Host receptions for prospective students and parents
- Represent Menlo College to prospective students in your area or at your local high school
- Offer internships, career services, informational interviews
- Volunteer a night with student callers for the Annual Fund Phonathon
