Menlo College's mission is to educate and develop future leaders in a small, innovative, private residential college of management that integrates programs in business, mass communication and liberal arts.
Menlo College 1000 El Camino Real Atherton, CA 94027
As you have probably heard, I will be retiring as of December 31, 2008. My 51 years at Menlo College have been wonderful. I have never thought of my time at the College as a job; it has always been a way of life.
Throughout my career at Menlo, many incidents occurred where those involved eluded capture. Several cases have been solved such as the sleeping gaucho and donkey that appeared at Judge's doorstep in El Camino Hall every Monday morning. The culprits came forward—case closed. Another case involved the mystery of Bill Moser's sailboat in the swimming pool. Someone eventually spilled the beans about their roommates—case closed.
Now we have other cases to solve, such as who put Professor Tobin's MG car on the second floor of Michael Hall? Who put the carriage on the roof of Middlehouse? I am asking for your help to get to the bottom of these cases before I leave.
If you decide to come clean, please send me an email. If you have any confessions to make or anecdotes to tell about your years at Menlo College, please email them to me. We are planning to document these treasures in a book and I'd love for you to be included in the book.
