How to Register Online

**You must see your Faculty Advisor to discuss your schedule before you can register for classes online. Your advisor has to electronically authorize you to register for classes on IQ.WEB. If you do not know who your faculty advisor is, please contact the Student Service Center or Academic Advising Office.

How to register for classes online:

-Refer to the IQ.WEB Setup Guide for Students if you are using IQ.WEB for the first time.
-Log on to http://iq.menlo.edu.
-Click on "Login" and enter your User ID and Password, then click on "Sign In".
-Select "Online Registration".
-Select the appropriate year/term, then click on "Submit".
-Select Course Search
-Choose "Session: Main Session"
-In the "Courses" box, type the course ID of the course you wish to add (example: ACC 001), then click on "Search". Do this for all courses.
-Select "Add To Cart" for the courses you wish to register for. (NOTE: IQ.WEB will not allow you to register for courses for which you have not taken or passed the prerequisites.)
-Once all courses have been added to your Shopping Cart, close the pop-up window and select the "Back To Registration" link at the top or bottom of the "Registration Add To Web Basket" page.
-Check the "Add" checkboxes to the left of each course to register for the desired courses in your Shopping Cart.
-Select "Process" to continue. Any errors (prerequisites, time conflicts, etc.) that have occurred will be displayed in red at this time and must be corrected before you can continue. You must uncheck the Add box next to the classes with errors to continue. You cannot complete registration if you have errors.
-Select "Make Schedule Changes" to correct any errors.
-Once there are no errors or conflicts, select "Finalize Schedule" to complete your registration.
-To verify accurate registration, click on the "Class Schedule" button. Only courses that you are officially registered for will show up on the schedule. If a course(s) isn't listed on your schedule you are not registered for it. Contact one of the offices below for assistance.
-Print a copy of your completed Class Schedule now! Schedules are NO LONGER mailed to students.

Closed/Full Classes
If a class is closed (or full) you can put yourself on the waitlist by clicking the "Add to Waitlist" button. To register for a class that you are waitlisted for you must get signed-in by the Instructor—completely fill out an Add Slip, have the instructor sign it, and then turn it in to the Registrar's Office. There is no guarantee that a student will able enroll in a waitlisted course.
